Record number of security bulletins released this month
On August 10, Microsoft released a record number of security bulletins - fourteen, to be exact, addressing thirty-four vulnerabilities. A number of these are rated critical and apply to multiple versions of Windows. Are you having problems with the new Hotmail?
Microsoft released the latest version of its web mail service, Hotmail, earlier this month. The transition hasn't gone smoothly for everyone. Many of the problems seem to be related to using certain older versions of Firefox or Safari as your web browser. Mary Jo Foley reports on this issue here:

Cool new text editor
